THE COHORTS - During the initial review phase the 115 Local Education Agencies (LEAs) have been divided into three manageable cohort groups. Therefore, the honors level course review process will occur every three years for a cohort. Three cohorts of LEAs have been generated by random computer selection.

Randomly selected LEAs will be notified at least one semester prior to the review in order for effective collection of documentation and artifacts. The review process is intended to provide comments, feedback and support to strengthen honors level courses for continuous program improvement.
